Return of the It Bag
Restaurant stools at the ready: a girl's best friend returns. But how to do it sensibly, without taking out a second mortgage and whilst understanding the true cost?
Uh oh, It bags are back. Those markers of your social status, your fashion IQ, your wealth, your personality and your practicality are swooping back down to Fashion Earth to pass judgement.
This is good news and bad news. The good news is bags can be very good friends. They travel with you everywhere, serve your needs and purposes, can be gloriously decorative and will last you longtime if you buy wisely. And you can buy very well crafted, investment pieces that will make you feel good about yourself and your bag friend for years to come. Further good news is that the new It bags are waaaaay more affordable than previously trending pieces. If you are trying to build a sustainable wardrobe, then a good bag will be a cornerstone piece.

The bad news is that some of these new It bags are disturbingly cheap - how can a piece of virgin nylon that costs $20 be good for the planet? More bad news is we haven’t had a raging trend like this for years and that means fashion fuel is back. Just in time for spring. Brace yourselves.
So - which are the bags with true fashion status and long lasting appeal worth investing in?
