What Happened at the British Fashion Awards
Glamour! Glitz! Palomas! Behind the scenes of London's biggest fashion night out
What a strange, compelling and thrilling crowd at the Royal Albert Hall this week for the British Fashion Awards. There was A list glitz in the form of Tom Ford, Anna Wintour, Rihanna, ASAP Rocky and Debbie Harry, an exciting class of newly identified creatives, (The BFC 50), stars from music and TV, a bunch of hangers on who had reportedly paid hundreds of thousands to bag a top seat, three tiers of brilliantly rowdy fashion students up in the gods, some terrible dresses (no one seemed to get the memo about synthetics, I followed one girl trailing an orange nylon net that was more Halloween than couture), and some truly stunning ones.
