The Best Bra You Will Ever Buy
I'm not one for shopping recommendations, but this one you have to know.
ICYMI: last week I brought news of The Good Fashion Fair I’m curating. It’s at House of Koko, Camden, London, March 29th. Link in this post.
You know me, I’m a reluctant advocate for shopping. There are thousands of influencers on here doing a very good job of that, and we need to do less of it anyway, so you don’t need my voice in the mix. But today I am joining that throng, because this one is really worth it. We live in an economy where we need to thrive and where we all need (some) goods to make that thrive happen, so finding the best ones is a consumer’s lifelong work. Great design is a joy; practicality an increasingly under rated quality. With clothes we also need to consider health risks now too, so chalk that into practicality considerations. Add respect for materials and labour, and you have the holy triumvirate.
Which is a long way round of asking you to buy fewer, better things - or, in the logic of Jonah from the great
“Wearing great clothes is many times cooler than buying them, and the more you buy, the less you’re able to wear, so the inverse relationship between sauce and consumption is clean cut.”So here we go. Firstly its underwear, so we all need it (boys, I’m sorry this one is not for you, yet, but your girl friend might like it). Secondly it is one of the most responsibly and conscientiously-made products I have ever come across. Thirdly it is a category game changer. Anyone in the business of making bras needs to look at what they did here.
Ask yourself the question, have your boobs ever been cold? No? Then you don’t know what warm boobs feel like, (that’s the life changing bit). But on a warm day, this bra will also make your boobs feel cool. This bra will envelop and support your gorgeous bosom like a big, comforting hug, and you will put it on every morning for yoga then cry when you have to change. You will look at the lacey underwired things in your drawer and you will shake your head and stay with this forever. You will then come round to the idea of wearing it in bed (larger chested women have known the joys of this for years), but you will not wake up damp and sweating, because this bra does the breathing for you.
